The Philippine National Police (PNP) is mourning the passing of chief presidential legal counsel Juan Ponce Enrile, saying he was a key figure in the push for the police force’s professionalism when he served as defense minister and Senate president.
Enrile passed away Thursday afternoon, his daughter announced. He was 101.
