This was a really emotional and heavy day for me because it was my last moment with my dog, Martha. I’ll be living alone in our house, and I know I can’t take care of her the way she truly deserves, so my mom will be taking her, and she’ll stay there from now on. While I was holding her earlier, I couldn’t help but think about all the happy memories we shared, the cuddles, and all the little moments that brought me joy. I will never forget this day, because it’s a goodbye filled with sadness but also love, knowing she’ll be in a better and more cared-for place.
